WWE is always looking to excite fans with a variety of booking decisions, which include surprise returns from time to time. This is especially the case for Superstars who have been absent from WWE television for a long time. It seems a huge WWE Superstar will finally be making their return on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown.

Shinsuke Nakamura made a name for himself in NJPW, where he ruled the roost as the King of Strong Style. Unfortunately, the Japanese superstar was never able to reach the top of the mountain in WWE despite his best efforts.

Triple H took control of WWE’s creative direction when Vince McMahon retired last year and fans simply wanted the company to finally push Shinsuke Nakamura. Unfortunately, that never happened till now as WWE decided to put Nakamura’s creative plans on hold.

According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite, Shinsuke Nakamura is expected to make his return to WWE television in the next few weeks on Friday Night Smackdown. It was noted that he could very well be on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown as well.

Shinsuke Nakamura faced off against The Great Muta at the NOAH The New Year show on January 1st this year and he has not done anything of notable since then. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether The King Of Strong Style will finally return on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown.

What do you think Shinsuke Nakamura’s return to WWE could mean for his future in the company? Are you excited to see him back on WWE television? Leave a comment below.
