There is always a lot going on in WWE, and this week is no different. Vince McMahon is back in control of creative, even though he said he wanted to stay out of the weeds. That wasn’t 100% of the truth, because Mr. McMahon was back to his usual way this week.

Vince McMahon upset few WWE Superstars when he nixed their match on the RAW after WrestleMania. McMahon also added a match, but one Superstar was not ready for it at all.

According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Vince McMahon added Omos and Elias’ match on RAW at the last minute. Omos was in catering at the time, and he wasn’t prepared to wrestle at all. That is when the Nigerian Giant had to scramble and find something to wrestle in.

Omos vs. Elias was also a late addition, and several things that were originally planned for the show didn’t end up happening.

We’re told Omos was in catering, and wasn’t planning on wrestling, then the late change happened, and there was a scramble to make sure he had gear to compete in.

It was also noted that, “An old Vince McMahon rule was to always bring your gear, and always stay til the end of the show, largely because he was constantly changing things. There were also talent that was scrambling to do last minute shoots.” This is exactly why you should always be prepared, especially around Vince McMahon.

Omos and Elias’ match was a late addition to the show. It turns out that Brock Lesnar turning on Cody Rhodes was also a bit of a last minute change to the original plan.

The report also stated that, “Numerous WWE talent were disappointed as they feel this weekend was a way for Vince McMahon to wedge himself back into the fold. Just earlier on Monday, WWE sources claimed that Triple H would be the person leading Gorilla position.”

Only time will tell what Vince McMahon does next. At this point, it’s really getting hard for WWE to surprise us with anything.
