Vince McMahon is back in WWE, and he’s running the show. This comes after a time when he assured everyone that he won’t be involved in creative. Vince McMahon is a bit of a liar in that regard, because he was back in the Gorilla Position all WrestleMania weekend.

Fightful Select dropped a report about Vince McMahon behind their paywall. It was noted that Vince McMahon’s return to WWE creative went against everything he previously said. After all, Mr. McMahon said in a CNBC interview that he doesn’t want to get “in the weeds.”

It was also noted that the overall dishonesty about the whole thing was a crushing blow to morale. Obviously, this wasn’t something that anyone saw coming, because they were told the opposite would be happening.

After saying he would not be “in the weeds” with creative in an interview earlier that day, Vince McMahon instead came in and made last minute, sweeping changes that frustrated several on his roster.

There were several that said they didn’t even think the changes were creatively poor, but the entire dishonesty of the situation considering that over a dozen of these people had previously been fired under Vince McMahon was a depressing blow.

Triple H brought back a few people that Vince McMahon fired over his sweeping pandemic cuts. Although Bray Wyatt and Cody Rhodes’ returns to WWE were initiated by Vince McMahon, others such as Dexter Lumis, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, and Bronson Reed might be a bit upset right now.

We’ll have to see how this pans out. The never-ending soap opera of WWE will continue, and it appears that the action behind the curtain was better than the drama in the ring.

What’s your take on this situation with Vince McMahon? Are you incredibly upset about the whole thing too? Sound off in the comments!
