Mark Henry shocked the world when he made his debut at the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view back in 2021. AEW became only the second company ever that Henry has worked in. For a long time, fans wondered whether Mark Henry was ever going to compete in the ring again. Unfortunately, it seems he has ruled out ever making a return to the squared circle.

The World’s Strongest Man had also signed a multi-year deal with the company. The WWE Hall Of Famer has yet to compete inside the squared circle after signing with AEW and is unlikely to ever do so now.

While speaking with WJAR, The World’s Strongest Man was asked whether he has any intention of ever stepping back inside a pro wrestling ring. Henry made it clear he will never compete again. In fact, the WWE Hall of Famer added that he was perfectly content with his current behind-the-scenes role and backstage announcer role on AEW Rampage.

“No, no. Don’t try to wish pain on me! …if anybody hits me, I’m calling the police.”

Mark Henry had previously stated that he wants to wrestle in AEW, but that won’t be happening anymore. Henry last competed in the ring as one of the many participants at the Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018 and that will forever remain the last match he ever competed in.

While some fans might be disappointed with this outcome, it is simply what is best for Mark Henry. What’s your take on what Mark Henry said? Are you sad he will never wrestle again? Sound off in the comments!
