Rhea Ripley toppled Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania Saturday to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion. Those two brought it all to SoFi Stadium, and left everything they could in the ring. Ripley might have also suffered a bit of an unexpected bump along the way as well.

During the media scrum after WrestleMania 39, Rhea Ripley was asked how she is doing following her brutal match against Charlotte Flair. It seems that Ripley might have actually been knocked out during the match, but she seems to be doing fine now.

“I think I’m okay. You’re not the first person to say that to me so maybe I did get knocked out. I’m not entirely sure, but I don’t remember that.”

“Apart from that, my elbow’s a little bit banged up. I feel great. I’m happy, I’m ecstatic. We’ll see what happens when the adrenaline wears off.”

Rhea Ripley went on to beat Charlotte Flair at the showcase of the immortals, and become SmackDown Women’s Champion. She also said after the match that she doesn’t plan on partying with the Judgment Day until after WrestleMania Sunday, because Finn Balor still has a brutal Hell in a Cell match booked against Edge. Ripley said she planned to go back to her hotel and eat, because it was something she didn’t do on Saturday before her big match.

We’ll have to see how long Rhea Ripley holds the SmackDown Women’s Title. She will be incredibly hard to beat as she starts her reign on the blue brand.
