WWE WrestleMania 39 concluded a while ago and it was truly a night of memorable moments and solid matches. Unfortunately, many fans will remember the event for a very different reason. This is because several fans were trapped inside the SoFi Stadium after the show concluded.

WrestleMania 39 Night One had several headline-making matches for fans to sink their teeth into. This included Charlotte Flair defending her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley. In addition to that, John Cena vs Austin Theory for the United States Championship was also a highlight.

The show concluded with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens defeating The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. It was truly a feel-good moment for the crowd in attendance. However, fans in attendance were then met with the shock of their lives.

Fans took to Twitter and uploaded a video, where they revealed that they were trapped inside the SoFi Stadium when they were trying to make their way out of the building after the show concluded. In fact, fans even broke into a ‘SoFi sucks’ chant while they remained trapped in the venue.

SoFi is the worst possible stadium I’ve ever been in. horrible design terrible security we’re tapped in here rn Miserable experience Atleast #Wrestlemania was great @SoFiStadium #sofistadium

A fan then revealed that the stadium opened up the fire exits so that fans could make their way out of the building. Fans were clearly distraught over this whole ordeal that could have easily been avoided.

WrestleMania 39 Night One will go down as one of the best Premium Live Events in recent memory, but the stigma of this unfortunate mishap will likely taint the event for years to come. We hope such an incident does not happen again for WrestleMania 39 Night Two.

What’s your take on this unfortunate incident? Do you think they will avoid it for WrestleMania 39 Night Two? Sound off in the comments!
