Roman Reigns has been on a roll ever since he won the Universal Championship at WWE Payback in August 2020. For the next 900+ days, Reigns destroyed every opponent who tried to take the belt away from him. Undoubtedly, Reigns’ title reign will go down as one of the greatest in WWE history and he’s making a killer payday along the way.

This Sunday at WrestleMania 39, Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes thereby putting his 900+ day reign on the line as well. Only time will tell if Reigns walks out of SoFi Stadium as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Ahead of his Championship clash, the Tribal Chief spoke with The Associated Press where he stated that the past three years couldn’t have turned out any better for him. It seems that he’s down to keep showing up, as long as WWE keeps paying him so well.

“You set goals and have visions of where you view yourself and what you’d like to accomplish. But, I couldn’t have written the past three years any better. It feels good to come from a wrestling family that has been performers for a long time. To represent such a prestigious title reign at the tippity top of the mountain, there’s no comparison.”

During the interview, he also mentioned that he will stick around WWE if the “insane checks” keep coming his way. He didn’t drop any dollar amount, but you have to know the Tribal Chief is paid very well.

“I feel good. I take care of myself. I’m not running around doing anything crazy. I raise children and dominate the wrestling game. If they keep cutting these insane checks, I’ll stay around.”

Roman Reigns hasn’t been pinned since 2019 when he lost to Baron Corbin. Hence, Cody Rhodes will have a tough time trying to defeat Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. Stay tuned to Ringside News for live coverage of WrestleMania 39.
