Drew McIntyre Wants WWE To Do More Slow-Burn Storylines Like The Bloodline

Drew McIntyre is currently one of the top Superstars in WWE and has garnered a huge fan following thanks to his passion for the business. McIntyre is beloved by many and is never afraid of having a good time in WWE. He was involved in The Bloodline and now it seems he wants WWE to do more Storylines like The Bloodline.

The Scottish Warrior was heavily involved in a feud with The Bloodline last year, as he challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship at WWE Clash At The Castle. Ultimately, he was not able to defeat Roman Reigns for the titles.

The Bloodline storyline has been the biggest angle in WWE for the past couple of years and fans have simply accepted it as one of the best Storylines WWE has ever produced.

While speaking with The Daily Mail, Drew McIntyre talked about The Bloodline Storyline in WWE. McIntyre made it clear that he wants WWE to do more long-term slow-burn storylines like The Bloodline in the future.

“It’s intriguing and there are so many layers, and it is something very unique. I don’t remember the last time so much time was taken to tell such a slow-burn story. Generally we’re rushing to the finish line to get matches built for the premium live events, but the people involved have put their foot down and said ‘Look, we’re building this,’ and it’s worked, the proof is in the pudding.

Maybe we’ll see more of that across the board eventually,” McIntyre continued. “It will reach a climax and I’m sure it’ll be awesome. I’ve got my eyes on certain people that can pull off the big one, obviously Cody’s got the big match, I want him to do well. It would be cool to see him pull off the big one, but at the same time I look at guys like Sami and Jey Uso and I think there are so many options of where this could go, and there’s steam still left in it.”

Drew McIntyre is set to challenge challenge GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship along with Sheamus at WrestleMania 39. We’ll have to wait and see who will come out on top in the match.
