In fact, quite a few fans had started to believe that Stephanie McMahon’s exit may have something to do with the potential sale of the company to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. That being said, there was absolutely no truth to this belief.

There were actually numerous sources related to rumored buyers who said that Stephanie McMahon could be a desired return. One source at Disney said “these companies are doing their due diligence, they’re following the news cycles, regardless of their public levels of interest. They’re aware of the things that would make audiences and staff happy. She seemed to bring a lot of positive to the company. The company’s progression under Nick Khan was also played up.

Ric Flair was also disappointed with Stephanie McMahon’s exit. Her WWE exit also raised flags within the company. She was also thought to be sick of pro wrestling before her resignation. We’ll have to see if Stephanie McMahon will return to WWE eventually.
