KAIRI proved herself as one of the most talented and high-flying wrestling stars in the business. The Pirate Princess did make a mark in WWE, but chose to leave the promotion to pursue her love for wrestling in her own land of Japan, and had been a mainstay in the Japanese Wrestling world lately. However, KAIRI recently stated that she is no longer obligated to any promotion.

KAIRI formerly had a moderate run with WWE during her tenure. She won the NXT Women’s title, the 2017 Mae Young Classic, and the WWE Women’s tag team Championship with Asuka.

As mentioned, she left the global juggernaut in 2021 and then went back to STARDOM, where she established herself before joining WWE. KAIRI went on a career resurgence and captured the attention of the audience in her homeland.

KAIRI then defeated Mayu Iwatani at NJPW x STARDOM Historic X-Over to win the first IWGP Women’s Championship. She recently spoke with Steve Fall where she revealed that she is a free agent at the moment, courtesy of her translator.

“She’s a free agent. She would like to go anywhere possible. She would like to go to the US if there’s a chance to go back again. She’s a free agent.”

KAIRI recently lost her IWGP Women’s title to Mercedes Mone at Battle in the Valley on February 18 and has not been seen in the ring ever since. We will have to wait and see where she ends up next as the world is her oyster now with her free-agent status.

Where do you think KAIRI would go next? Will she return to WWE?
