WWE’s NXT brand has a lot to do before their Stand & Deliver premium live event on April 1st. One Superstar’s absence has made a lot of fans wonder what’s going on, but it doesn’t appear Roderick Strong has gone anywhere yet.

Roderick Strong hasn’t been seen on NXT television in a very long time. He’s been out of action, but not injured, while rumors are out there that he is unhappy with WWE’s developmental territory.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer addressed Roderick Strong’s current status. Meltzer confirmed that Strong is still under contract, but he’s just not being used.

He is still under contract there, he has not been released, and they’re not using him right now.

The Diamond Mine sort of imploded after Roderick Strong’s departure. We will have to see if he able to return and get that faction back into shape, and return to their winning ways. Only time will tell where he ends up next, but Roderick Strong could benefit any number of pro wrestling companies out there.
