Kevin Owens has always managed to stay relevant in WWE no matter what storyline was presented to him. That is exactly why the company fully trusts him to get the job done no matter what. That being said, it seems Ric Flair believes Owens is more like Mick Foley than Sami Zayn.

Sami Zayn joined WWE in 2013 after honing his skills in the independent wrestling scene. He spent close to two years in developmental before making his main roster debut in 2015. Since then, he has become one of the most popular and recognizable stars in the company.

For a long time now, Sami Zayn has been compared to WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley. This is due to the fact that he has a lot of heart and just like Foley, Zayn is a massive underdog in WWE.

While speaking on his To Be The Man podcast, two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair addressed comparisons between Sami Zayn and Mick Foley. Flair stated that Owens is more like Mick Foley than Sami Zayn.

A big reason that Flair compared Owens to Mick Foley is down to the bumps that he takes inside the ring. Owens is well-known for being a risk taker and always putting himself in harm’s way, which is something that Foley did throughout his career.

“Kevin Owens reminds me more of Foley than Sami Zayn does. Kevin does crazy sh*t. I said, ‘I hope they’re paying you,’ he said ‘they are,’ I said, ‘good, don’t be afraid, don’t be shy to ask because nobody else is going to do that sh*t.

Sami Zayn previously stated that Mick Foley inspired him more than anyone else. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how WWE will develop Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens’ storyline, now that Jey Uso betrayed Zayn last week on Monday Night RAW.
