WWE’s NXT brand features tons of Superstars of tomorrow, but they all have to start somewhere. The road for one incredibly promising star began at a live event on Saturday night, and the rest might be history from here.

Dragon Lee is undoubtedly one of the most established and respected pro wrestlers on the planet. The pro wrestling veteran has wrestled against the best of the best in the business, especially in ROH, NJPW, AAA, and AEW. He officially signed with WWE last year, and this came as a huge shock for many. Lee already made his NXT debut recently, and now it seems he also made his in-ring debut during a WWE live event.

Fans were acquainted with Dragon Lee in AEW when he was part of Los Ingobernables few months ago. As previously reported, Dragon Lee had officially signed with WWE back in 2022.

Dragon Lee himself made the announcement after he and Dralsitico beat FTR to win the AAA Tag Team titles at the AAA Noche de Campeones event in Acapulco. Fans were then eagerly waiting for his arrival in NXT.

The former Ring of Honor World Television Champion made his WWE debut at NXT Roadblock earlier this week. His debut was just of him in the crowd waving before the six-man tag team match between “NXT” Champion Bron Breakker, The Creed Brothers, Jinder Mahal, and Indus Sher.

On March 11th, at a WWE NXT live event held at the St. Petersburg Armory in St. Petersburg, Florida, Dragon Lee had his first in-ring appearance. He faced off against Eddy Thorpe, who was formerly known as Karl Fredericks in NJPW. This was a non-televised event.

At the young age of 18, Dragon Lee began his professional wrestling career. He secured his first championship, the CMLL World Lightweight Championship, in 2015. Throughout his career, he has also achieved the titles of two-time ROH World Television Champion, two-time ROH World Tag Team Champion, and former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion. We’ll have to see how he will fare in NXT, now that Dragon Lee has finally arrived.
