MJF is considered one of the best heels in the pro wrestling business, with many comparing him to ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper. MJF has honed his craft over the years and cemented himself as one of the top stars in AEW. The speculation of him eventually jumping ship to WWE is still ongoing and now it seems Eric Bischoff believes MJF will definitely jump ship to WWE.

The Salt of the Earth previously revealed that he will go where the money is after his current AEW contract ends in 2024. MJF even said that there will be a bidding war for him in 2024.

MJF turned his current AEW contract situation into a television storyline. The AEW World Champion has never failed to drop several WWE references, including references to Nick Khan and Triple H.

While speaking during a recent appearance on the Going Broadway podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff shared his thoughts on the AEW World Champion. Bischoff stated that he believes MJF will definitely jump ship to WWE.

“Sure, he’s a very talented dude. Very talented, unquestionably. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t end up there [WWE].

[MJF will] only fly as high as the ceiling in AEW lets him fly… The audience is what the audience is,” Bischoff said. “It’s not growing, and unless something changes in AEW related to storytelling and structure and discipline and creative, ’cause the creative sucks, that’s all there is.”

MJF also told WWE talent that he is looking forward to joining the company in 2024. There is also doubt over MJF moving the needle in WWE. Regardless, we’ll have to see what MJF will do in the end.
