Spoiler On WWE’s Current Plan For WrestleMania Title Change

WWE’s biggest show of the year is slated to go down on April 1st and 2nd in SoFi Stadium. The company has a lot of things that they need to prepare for before WrestleMania 39 comes around, and they are making big progress each week. That being said, you can never expect the unexpected nature of the pro wrestling business.

Injuries can come out of the blue, especially with a big event in sight. You never know when WWE will have to call an audible and switch things up. Thankfully, despite her apparent injury, Ronda Rousey is still pencilled in for the showcase of the immortals this year.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that Ronda Rousey’s injury is not going to change WrestleMania plans. In fact, he went on to provide a bit of a spoiler, because Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler are expected to become champions at the show of shows.

“She’s out, you know, and you know exactly how, you know, how much she will be recovered by the next time she is wrestling again is unknown, but the hope is that they will still win the tag team titles at WrestleMania. That was the original idea. That was the hope.”
