The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion is set to battle Jamie Hayter and Ruby Soho at AEW Revolution for Hayter’s AEW Women’s World Title. This match was booked during a time that Saraya considers her “second chance.”
MyLondon recently spoke to Saraya to hype her AEW Revolution match. That triple threat match will be another incredible notch in her belt, and it is one Saraya never thought she could wear again.
“It’s fantastic. I’ve been so excited to get back into the swing of just being on a wrestling show. I never fully expected to be wrestling again. My doctors five years ago just straight out said I would never wrestle again. They didn’t think my neck would heal. At the best they thought it would be a very long time, like maybe in my late 40s I might be able to get back into the ring. It’s actually really nice to be able to get my career back at 30. It’s really wonderful.”
AEW Revolution pay-per-view is set to feature a highly anticipated match between Jamie Hayter, the reigning AEW Women’s World Champion, and challengers Saraya and Ruby Soho in a Triple Threat match. This is the fifth match for Saraya since her comeback to the ring in November, 2022 and her first-ever shot at the title. Her career seemed to have ended five years ago when doctors said she would never wrestle again due to a neck injury. However, she now feels like she has been given a second chance at life and is grateful to be back in the ring at the age of 30. With so much at stake in this upcoming match, fans are eagerly anticipating the outcome.
