WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg is a true veteran in professional wrestling, as he largely made a name for himself as part of D-Generation X in the 90s. He was also released from the company back in 2022. It seems Becky Lynch was one of the few Superstars to call him after he was released.

On the other hand, Becky Lynch remains one of the biggest names on WWE television, so it comes as no surprise she has transcended professional wrestling and made her way into the mainstream.

While speaking on the Oh…You Didn’t Know podcast, Road Dogg talked about Becky Lynch and what he thought of her. Giving her a ton of praise, Road Dogg revealed that Becky Lynch was one of the only Superstars to call him after he was released.

“I always really liked Becky Lynch. I always really thought that her being, was cool. She was beautiful. That accent. She can work. She carried herself cool. There was just something about Becky that said Superstar to me early on and so I utilized her in that way.

When I got released, she was one of the only people, and of course, I got a lot of calls, but she was one of the only talent-wise that called me and said, ‘What happened?’ It blew my mind that she gave a crap enough about me to call and say, ‘Hey, I’m sorry.’ You go and the machine moves forward, and some people get left behind, and on that day, it was me. But yeah, I’ve seen something special in her since day one.”

Road Dogg was brought back to WWE earlier last year after Triple H took over the Creative aspect of the company. He also ended up replacing Jeff Jarrett’s role in WWE as well.

As for Becky Lynch, she recently became the Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Lita on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for her.
