AEW Revolution is scheduled to take place at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California on March 5, 2023, and fans can’t wait to see how Tony Khan books the big show. The main event of this year’s pay-per-view will feature MJF and Bryan Danielson competing for the AEW World Title in a 60-minute Iron Man match. It seems like Danielson would love to be the opening match of the pay-per-view with MJF if possible.

Before he was eventually able to earn his bout against MJF, Bryan Danielson had to compete in a number of wars each week on AEW Dynamite. The American Dragon overcame all the challenges put in front of him to secure his championship bout over the last few weeks.

The high-stakes battle between the Salt of the Earth and the former WWE champion has main event written all over it. But Bryan Danielson mentioned while speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated that it would have been the first match on the card if he had his way.

“I would love to convince Tony [Khan] to let us go first, mostly because I go to bed really early. On Sunday, my wife couldn’t believe this; I went to bed at 8:03. There is a chance I will be going to the ring at that time this Sunday. We’ll be in San Francisco, and the idea of wrestling at five is much more suited to my personality.”

The match between MJF and Bryan Danielson will have to come after a Texas Deathmatch between Hangman Page and Jon Moxley, a No Holds Barred match between Jungle Boy and Jack Perry and an anticipated all-action trios match between The Elite and House of Black. There will also be other title matches and grudge matches in between.

On the December 15th, 2021, episode of AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson and Hangman Page had a 60-minute time limit match that ended in a draw. So, the American Dragon will walk into the match with a lot of experience that could help him dethrone MJF for the AEW World championship.
