WWE has several former Superstars out there on the indies, all looking to do their thing and make a mark on the industry. Although WWE has called some people back from time to time, JTG is still waiting on that call.

JTG was a part of Cryme Tyme in WWE for years, but the tag team disbanded following their release. Sadly, Shad Gaspard died in 2020 when he was trying to save his son from an undercurrent at a California beach.

While speaking to Tim Hann, JTG opened up a bit about his future in the business. Things seem wide open for him, as many look up to the former WWE Superstar. He will keep doing his thing, and hopefully, someone will realize all the work he’s putting in and give him a call.

“Just keep blazing that trail. I have a lot of people watching me. I was told that I’m a mentor, I’m an idol. That people are watching me…Motivating the younger generation. We’ll see. Maybe I’ll pick up my phone when they call but somebody’s gonna call.”

We’ll have to see if WWE gives JTG a call. He can still go in the ring, so only time will tell what kind of asset he could be on their roster. Then again, WWE isn’t the only option right now in the pro wrestling world, so we’re sure JTG would see what Tony Khan has to say if he calls as well.

Keep checking back with Ringside News for more on this story, and everything else going on in the pro wrestling world.
