Charlotte Flair’s numerous championship triumphs in WWE have been met with mixed reactions from fans, some of whom are worried about her being overexposed. Despite this, there is no denying her incredible abilities in the ring, which are widely acknowledged and celebrated. She recently cut a promo on Rhea Ripley on Smackdown and it seems Flair has now been criticized for the same.

Rhea Ripley won the Women’s Royal Rumble match and booked her ticket to WrestleMania 39. In the end, she chose Charlotte Flair, who was her opponent back at WrestleMania 36.

During Smackdown this week, Charlotte Flair found herself in a confrontation with Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio. Dominik had made an appearance on the blue brand in the buildup to Ripley’s WrestleMania 39 match against Flair.

While speaking on Smack Talk, pro wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell addressed Charlotte Flair’s promo on Rhea Ripley. He criticized Charlotte Flair for downgrading and demeaning Rhea Ripley.

“One thing, I don’t know why she said ‘I beat her three years ago’, I’m thinking, ‘Boy, that was three years ago, what’s that got to do with now?’ You mean three years, all of a sudden she’s just sat around and just didn’t do anything to improve herself? She should’ve put her opponent over, it’s what she should’ve done.

But then say, I don’t think she still has the guts to take it or the skills to take it. See babyfaces need that, to put their opponent over, because if they do get beat, well, they’re pretty good and if they lose, they lost to a nobody. Because now Charlotte has demeaned her and downgraded her skill in the ring, so I don’t think Charlotte came out ahead of this interchange.”

Charlotte Flair also believes her match with Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39 should be the main event. We’ll have to wait and see how the match will turn out in April, as fans are certainly excited for it.
