Dominik Mysterio has been involved in a storyline with The Judgment Day ever since he betrayed his father and Edge last year. He has been paired up with Rhea Ripley a lot since then, and this has made fans wonder about their actual relationship. Now it seems Mysterio has also addressed Ripley’s relationship with Buddy Matthews.
Buddy Matthews, fka Buddy Murphy in WWE, has been in a real-life relationship with Ripley for several months. In 2020, he was involved in a romance storyline with Dominik’s sister Aalyah.
While speaking to Riju Dasgupta, Dominik Mysterio gave his thoughts on Ripley’s real-life partner Buddy Matthews. Mysterio made it clear that their relationship does not affect his work with Rhea on television.
“Yeah, well, he kissed my sister, so I don’t know, we might have some problems there family dynamic-wise, but overall I think my dynamic with Mami works both ends, on my side and on her side. When we’re at TV, it just works out for us.”
Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley have been featured together on WWE programming since September 2022, but the nature of their on-screen relationship is still uncertain. Despite going on a Valentine’s Day date in kayfabe as Judgment Day members, fans are left guessing about their current status.
Buddy Matthews also reacted to Rhea Ripley’s most recent segment on Friday Night Smackdown. We will have to wait and see how Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair’s feud will be booked in the coming weeks.
