AEW Star Suffered Dislocated Ribs During Street Fight Match

Anna Jay has become one of the rising stars in AEW’s women’s division after signing with Tony Khan’s company. Thanks to her genuinely honing her craft, Jay has garnered a solid fan following. That being said, she was involved in a very scary spot that made fans worry about her well-being. It seems she also suffered dislocated ribs due to the spot.

As fans are more than aware by now, Anna Jay is very serious and also consistent when it comes to her in-ring training. After aligning herself with the Jericho Appreciation Society last year, Jay has shown a completely different side of her.

Anna Jay teamed up with Tay Melo and faced off against Willow Nightingale and Ruby Soho in a Street Fight on AEW Rampage last month. At one point during the match, Anna took a scary bump.

The spot in question saw Anna Jay take a powerbomb from Willow Nightingale off of the stage and onto a table. Instead of landing on the table, Jay landed on the floor very hard. This infuriated fans who criticized Nightingale for being unsafe.

Reports suggested that she was fine after the spot. However, Anna Jay recently took to Twitter and revealed that she suffered dislocated ribs due to the spot.

No bruised tailbone, but I did have some dislocated ribs. Not fun.

It remains to be seen what AEW has planned for the young star when she makes her in-ring return. We just hope she won’t be put in such a position ever again.
