Ronda Rousey retained the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Raquel Rodriguez on the December 30 episode of WWE SmackDown. After the match, Rousey was confronted by the returning Charlotte Flair, who challenged her to an impromptu title match. Rousey was defeated by Flair in under a minute, ending her second reign at 83 days, following which the former UFC megastar took a break from WWE programming. It seems that break is about to end.

The WWE Universe expected to see Ronda Rousey return as a surprise entrant to the Women’s Royal Rumble match in late January, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen. After a brief hiatus, Rousey returned on the February 10 episode of SmackDown to help Shayna Baszler attack Natalya and Shotzi, officially beginning an alliance between the two.

The WWE Events website and the Van Del Arena website have now added Ronda Rousey to the line-up for Monday Night RAW from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Shayna Baszler is not currently listed for the show, but that doesn’t mean she won’t be there with The Baddest Woman On The Planet. It is to be noted that WWE has not officially announced Rousey for RAW as of yet.

With WrestleMania 39 less than 39 days away, it only makes sense for Ronda Rousey to officially initiate her feud for The Grandest Stage Of Them All. The former UFC athlete didn’t compete at WrestleMania 36 and 37.
