WWE is on a fast track to WrestleMania 39 with no more Rumbles, Chambers, or other obstacles in the way now. While other contests are still being planned, three championship matches have already been announced. Rhea Ripley, the winner of the Royal Rumble, stated on the February 20th episode of RAW that she is moving on from Beth Phoenix after the Elimination Chamber and will be journeying to SmackDown this week with Dominik Mysterio.

Rhea Ripley has her sights set firmly on SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. In sit-down interview with Dominik Mysterio on Monday night, Ripley discussed her strategy for defeating Flair at the biggest event of the year.

Nevertheless, before they get together on April 1st or 2nd, Rhea Ripley will go to SmackDown this Friday. This will see her meet Charlotte Flair in person for the first time in almost two years.

Dominik Mysterio said he will accompany “Mami” to watch Rey Mysterio battle Karrion Kross, so she won’t be alone. As WWE continues to promote Ripley vs. Flair and a potential father-son fight at WrestleMania, this might be the first of future SmackDown visits from the Judgment Day faction. If anything, this will likely lead to a father vs son match at WrestleMania 39.

This week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown will emanate from Ford Center in Evansville, IN. Here is the line-up announced for the blue brand so far.

– Rey Mysterio vs. Karrion Kross

– Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley face-to-face

– Firefly Fun House with Bray Wyatt
