Wes Lee has been on a roll ever since he won the NXT North American Championship last year at Halloween Havoc. The champion will once again defend his title next week on WWE NXT.
Wes Lee announced his decision to defend the title during a backstage interview segment with McKenzie Mitchell this week on WWE NXT. Last week, Lee had successfully defended the title against Von Wagner.

Plus, Zoey Stark will take on Meiko Satomura next week on NXT. Stark trash talked the Japanese legend during an interview segment this week on NXT, noting she’ll show the world who’s the “final boss.”
The February 28, 2023, edition of NXT will feature a singles match-up between Tyler Bate and Carmelo Hayes as well. The match was booked after a backstage segment between the two and Trick Williams this week on NXT.
