John Cena is one of the few WWE superstars to have made a significant impact in the world of professional wrestling. With a mix of unmatched in-ring ability, an endearing personality, and an unmatched connection with fans, he is considered one of the most legendary individuals in professional wrestling history, solidifying his place in popular culture both inside and beyond the wrestling industry. Furthermore, his rumored appearance on the road to WrestleMania has now been confirmed by Cena himself.
John Cena is currently in Melbourne, Australia where he is filming a movie. However, he thanked the fans on Twitter for allowing him to return to WWE in his hometown for the March 6th, 2023 edition of RAW.
“From the streets of Melbourne 🇦🇺 STR8 2 Boston 🇺🇸 to see my @WWE family! Thank you @tdgarden for allowing me to be part of a can’t miss #WWERaw on the Road to #WrestleMania!!!”
With the announcement of his comeback, John Cena might take part in the WrestleMania 39 festivities. It follows that his presence on the aforementioned RAW show may spark a feud with the WWE United States champion, Austin Theory.
As many speculations have suggested, John Cena is penciled in to face Austin Theory at WrestleMania in Hollywood. The match is all but guaranteed after the blue-chip prospect successfully defended his title this past weekend inside the Elimination Chamber and even name-dropped him at the post-event press conference.
Furthermore, while being in Melbourne, Australia at the moment, John Cena is currently acting as the lead in the upcoming comedy “Ricky Stanicky.” Moreover, he was also sporting a striking look in a skirt while on sets.
Nevertheless, the 16-time World champion will take a short leave from sets in Melbourne to return to WWE next month on RAW. We will have to wait and see what John Cena has in store for the WWE Universe as he comes home.
