WWE is presenting the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in Montreal, and fans are in for quite a night. The Elimination Chamber matches give Superstars a rare chance to excel in an unforgiving structure, and now we know that they will get plenty of time.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE has a plan for longer Elimination Chamber matches. Each match, the United States Title and the #1 Contender for the RAW Women’s Title, will get over half an hour.

Both Elimination Chamber matches were supposed to get over a half hour each.

It was also noted that, “Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar was slated for the shortest amount of time.” Obviously, Lesnar’s matches have never been very long, but they’re usually explosive.

We will have to see how the Elimination Chamber matches pan out. After all, WWE is producing another pay-per-view with a limited number of matches, but the special attractions will obviously take center stage until the massive main event.
