Carmelo Hayes is one of the most exciting and fastest-rising stars in WWE’s developmental brand, NXT. In addition to winning over fans, he is also regarded for his exceptional ring abilities and athleticism. Hayes has grown significantly since joining NXT, and Shawn Michaels likes him a lot. However, he recently clapped back at a report about his rumored plans on the main roster.

Carmelo Hayes seems to not like reports floating around his future plans. He recently shot down a recent report by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter on Twitter, which claimed that he would join the Hurt Business on the main roster, which is rumored to reform soon.

“I rate the accuracy of this report… 1 star ⭐️.”

The Hurt Business, made up of Bobby Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin, had a phenomenal stint in the WWE and left a lasting impression on the history of the organization. The group created an enduring legacy by raising the profiles of its members to previously unheard-of heights.

Despite their enormous success, the Hurt Business, along with a number of other WWE groups, finally disbanded in 2021. The dissolution culminated in a Monday Night RAW broadcast that signaled the end of an era.

Furthermore, it seemed like WWE wanted to add Carmelo Hayes to the faction in light of the speculations of their return. However, Carmelo’s recent comments have effectively ended those rumors for now.

However, other speculations do suggest that MVP is trying really hard to reform the Hurt Business. So we will have to wait and see if the group comes together once again and if that could entice Carmelo Hayes in joining the stable upon his main roster arrival.
