AJ Styles was going with new steam after Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were brought back to WWE. Then he was taken out of action after an ankle injury during a WWE live event. Now it seems that WWE has found someone for the Good Brothers to team with during his hiatus.

AJ Styles tweeted out short time later to confirm his injury. “Just want you guys to know that I’m ok. Broken ankle is what I’m dealing with. No surgery, this just takes some time to recover. This will be the longest I’ve ever been out of the ring. Thanks for the prayers and get well wishes.”

The Good Brothers did not appear at the Royal Rumble, because they were not needed. That was little extra something they added to their new five-year WWE contracts upon their return. Since AJ Styles disappeared from WWE television, that left a big hole in the Good Brothers’ booking.

Cody Rhodes tweeted out to let fans know that he will be teaming with the Good Brothers at the March 4th WWE live event in Syracuse, New York. It seems that WWE found someone to fill in for AJ Styles for the time being.

Just got word I’ll be in trios action coming up on select @WWE live events…and my partners, first time ever, these bruddas…

While this has not transitioned onto television, you never know what can happen on the road to WrestleMania. Cody Rhodes has a lot of friends in the pro wrestling business, and WWE could see even more of his associates join in time.

We’ll have to see what happens in the next few months. AJ Styles still has a long time until his injury hiatus is over, but we will be the first to tell you all about it right here at Ringside News.

What’s your take on this situation?
