Pro wrestling is an industry that never stops, and that means many creative ideas are needed to make things run. In the end, that could open the door for an idea or two to get stolen.

Torrie Wilson received a lot of attention in WWE by bringing her dog Chloe to the ring. This gimmick almost didn’t happen, because she initially refused when asked by another Superstar.

During the Cafe de Rene podcast, Dupree said that before Torrie Wilson started taking Chloe out to the ring with her, he actually asked her to do that. When he asked, she refused to let him touch her little dog. Then that idea ended up getting stolen.

“So this is before she brought the dog on TV, right? She would travel with it. She would travel with that little thing, right? Now, I was like, ‘hey Torrie, will you let me take you dog out?’ She’s like, ‘no.’ like, ‘I’m just gonna walk it out. Like hold it and then as soon I’ll just pass right over. Like, what do you think I’m gonna do, take the little f**king dog and throw it in the audience? I mean come on.’ And she’s like, ‘no, I don’t want you touching my dog.’ But then she started coming out with the dog, remember? So, she stole my f*cking idea. I love you Torrie. You’re still my future ex-wife,”

This is one side of the story, but we’re certain that there are a couple of people who could comment on it. As of this writing, Rene Dupree seems to be the only one who is chiming in on the subject. Sadly, Chloe died in 2020 at the age of 17.

We’ll have to see if Torrie Wilson has anything to say about this accusation. In the meantime, she seems to be really enjoying her time after pro wrestling, and she doesn’t seem to have any reason to revisit the past right now.
