The pro wrestling world is full of controversy, and Konosuke Takeshita’s recent tribute to Eddie Guerrero on Dynamite brought an unexpected negative reaction from Konnan. He said that Takeshita should “Stick to his nationality,” and now he’s hearing more about that.

As we previously reported, Miro took exception to Konnan calling out the Eddie Guerrero tribute on AEW Dynamite. He tweeted out to Konnan and said, “I bet you all that Konnan, or whatever his name was , can’t last 10 sec with @Takesoup.”

Konnan saw this tweet from Miro, and he didn’t hold anything back. He wanted to make the point that everything he said was “a joke” as well.

it was a joke, cant believe u got worked..like im actually going to be mad, its sarcasm..listen to the show instead of being an echo chamber.”

After Miro said that he wasn’t joking, Konnan had another reply. Then Konnan proceeded to make a joke about Miro’s career.

“not sure why u inserted yourself into this convo esp after I told u it was a joke..did u listen to the show?, prob not..that Takeshita could take me wow what a brave take esp at this stage of my life..why don’t u worry about your career that seems to be the bigger joke here.”

It seems that the two mended things after that, but you also never know what might spark a new rivalry in the pro wrestling world, even if one of the people involved isn’t wrestling anymore. It’s not likely that Miro and Konnan will settle things in the ring. After all, Konnan’s days in the squared circle are well behind him. Miro has also been strangely absent from EW’s television products in recent memory.

Miro will still defend the AEW roster, no matter who comes at them. If anything, it could also be seen as a sign that he is still loyal to AEW.
