Cody Rhodes Warns That Paul Heyman Needs To Be Scared Of Brandi Rhodes

After a return at the 2023 Royal Rumble, and prevailing over 29 other men, Cody Rhodes is set to headline the greatest stage of them all. The return of The American Nightmare is generating lot of buzz and rightfully so. Should Roman Reigns uphold his undefeated streak against Sami Zayn, The Tribal Chief, and The American Nightmare would be bumping heads at WrestleMania 39 for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.

Like The Tribal Chief, The American Nightmare also hails from a family of distinguished pro wrestlers. As The Tribal Chief is notorious for having his bloodline involved during matches, the possibility of Cody Rhodes pulling something similar was questioned.

Last week Paul Heyman made it personal when he brought up Cody’s dad, “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. The American Nightmare addressed the issue while appearing in an interview with Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat.

Cody Rhodes sang praise for his wife Brandi Rhodes and commended her for how far she has come in her pro wrestling journey. The American Nightmare then issued a warning to Paul Heyman of what could happen if his wife Brandi Rhodes decides to enter the fray.

“As far as Brandi is concerned. I never know. Like my dad, when Brandi got in, I went, ‘You have to do your own thing and be your own self.’ I’m so proud. When I talk about what we built [AEW], there is a reason why I name everybody in it. Without Matt (Jackson), Nick (Jackson), Kenny (Omega), Tony (Khan), Bernie, Brandi, Dana (Massie), it would have never happened. All of those names have to be included because it was so fragile.”

“I’m so proud of what she did and her contributions to it. If I’m Roman Reigns, I’m not necessarily scared of Brandi Rhodes. If I’m Mr. Heyman [Paul Heyman], I would be scared of what could happen. She’s really enjoying watching this. My whole family, not that they’ve come out of the woodwork, they’ve always been big supporters, but for Mania, because I’ve never been in this situation before, I’ve gotten everything really organized in advance.”

As The American Nightmare made it clear that he won’t be available at all the events for WrestleMania 39, he made the necessary arrangements so that they could enjoy the illustrious event. For more updates, stay tuned to Ringside News.
