Huge Title Match & More Booked For WWE NXT Next Week

Jinder Mahal made his shocking return to NXT at New Year’s Evil on January 10, 2023. The Modern Day Maharaja aligned himself with Indus Sher following his surprise return to the white and gold brand. Next week, Jinder gets his hands on Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship.

Jinder Mahal interrupted Bron Breakker’s promo during NXT this week. The former WWE Champion arrived with Indus Sher to the ring. Jinder praised Bron as the face of NXT and said he’ll face the champion for the title next Tuesday. The match was confirmed during the show.

Next, Indi Hartwell will square off against Jacy Jayne in singles competition. Jacy Jayne debuted new entrance theme song on NXT this week. She cut a promo and officially kicked off her solo run. Indi Hartwell reacted to Jacy Jayne’s segment and said she’ll have to go back in line behind Indi.

Ilja Dragunov will make his in-ring return next week on NXT as well. The Czar was attacked from behind by Trick Williams during a segment that also featured a slight distraction, courtesy of an injured JD McDonagh. Dragunov will take on Trick Williams next week on NXT.
