WWE has a lot of plans on the road to WrestleMania, but they can’t include everyone in the build toward the show of shows. Matt Riddle still has huge fan base, despite the constant controversy coming his way, but those fans will have to wait until next year for a possible WrestleMania moment.

Ringside News was told that WWE is currently going through with their WrestleMania plan, and Matt Riddle is not a part of the situation. It was not noted when The Original Bro will return to the squared circle.

WWE was hopeful that Matt Riddle would make a return by WrestleMania, but that doesn’t seem to be in the cards. Riddle hasn’t been seen on WWE television since his injury angle at the hands of Solo Sikoa.

Matt Riddle’s last public message was to thank his girlfriend for standing by him during his recovery. He also took that chance to show off his new grill. Only time will tell if Riddle’s shining, smiling, face will be seen on WWE television again, but the road to WrestleMania seems very doubtful.

WWE once saw Matt Riddle as a huge merchandise mover and potential top star. His team with Randy Orton was one of the top acts that Vince McMahon put together during his last stint in charge of the company’s creative direction. Then The Viper was taken off television due to a back injury, and Matt Riddle’s hiatus followed for a totally different reason.

At this point, Randy Orton’s WWE return timeline is up in the air. Of course, WWE is hopeful that he will be able to make a return as well, but we were also able to confirm that there are no WrestleMania plans for Randy Orton at this time either.
