Ronda Rousey Returns During WWE SmackDown

Ronda Rousey took a break from WWE television after she lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair on the December 30, 2022, edition of the blue brand. Tonight, the Baddest Woman on the Planet made her televised comeback.

Tonight’s edition of WWE SmackDown featured an in-ring promo segment between Natalya and Shayna Baszler. Nattie called Baszler a “cheap, knockoff version of Ronda Rousey.”

The Queen of Spades interrupted the promo and said she was sick and tired of people comparing her to Ronda Rousey. Baszler entered the ring. Ronda’s music hit and she arrived.

The two ganged up on Natalya, reiterating that their alliance is only getting stronger. Ringside News had reported the return of Ronda Rousey as a spoiler ahead of this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler joined forces after Shayna Baszler turned on her partner Natalya. The two debuted as an alliance on a taped edition of WWE SmackDown in November 2022.

Ronda Rousey has also made it clear that she is no longer interested in pursuing Charlotte Flair or the SmackDown Women’s Championship and wants to dominate the tag team division instead.
