Cody Rhodes’ return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 was highly anticipated, and his entrance truly entranced fans. Rhodes has become a huge fan-favorite due to how he has been booked by WWE so far. That being said, many believed that Rhodes was going to run for President one day. However, it seems that will no longer be happening anymore.

In the past several years, there have been a good few wrestlers who have gotten involved in politics. This includes the likes of WWE Hall Of Fame Kane, Matt Morgan and more.

In fact, even Cody Rhodes had previously thrown his name into the political game. While speaking to Logan Paul on his podcast Impaulsive, Cody Rhodes talked about his political aspirations.

The American Nightmare made it clear that he longer has any intention of being the President of the United States, which was one of his childhood dreams. He then went on to explain his decision as to why he won’t run for President.

“I don’t want to run for President anymore. That seems like a terrible thing. Also, [there’s] the tattoo on the neck. The dude drew it and I’ve always liked the design. The American Nightmare design was what it was.”

Cody Rhodes will be challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39. While he might never become the President, there is a chance he can become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion in WWE, and that matters to him the most right now.
