Charlotte Flair’s numerous championship wins in WWE have received a mixed response from fans, with some criticism that she is over-featured. Nevertheless, her exceptional in-ring skills are widely acknowledged and undeniable. She is set for a huge WrestleMania 39 match and it seems some believe that has to do with Flair’s Hollywood plans.

On the December 30th episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Ronda Rousey lost the Smackdown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair in a surprising outcome. This resulted in a controversial return for The Queen.

Rhea Ripley won the Women’s Royal Rumble match and earned the right to challenge for a main event title of her choosing. As seen on RAW last week, The Eradicator chose Charlotte Flair as her WrestleMania 39 opponent.

While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about the upcoming WrestleMania 39 match. Booker T stated that he believes that the match could be due to Flair’s Hollywood fans.

“It’s gotta be a master plan. It’s gotta be something going on there as far as inside of knowledge that I have no clue or idea about as far as, I don’t know, Charlotte Flair might have a movie coming. I don’t know. I don’t know what it is but for Rhea Ripley to call that shot against Charlotte Flair, she gotta be feeling really confident as far as, you know, what’s about to happen. That’s just my opinion.

Charlotte, she’s a big money player, man. She’s got a lot like, I think she’s represented by William Morris Endeavors, am I correct? [Yes.] Yeah, so she’s got a lot on her plate, I’m sure. [Charlotte has a show coming out. ] Yeah, see what I’m saying. So, like I said, this could have a lot of implications as far as what in-store for Charlotte’s future outside of wrestling. And you’re always gonna need that person to, you know, step in there and, you know, keep everything rolling.”

The upcoming match marks the first-ever women’s one-on-one rematch in WrestleMania history. In 2020, Charlotte claimed victory at the Royal Rumble and went on to defeat Ripley at WrestleMania 36 to win the NXT Championship. It remains to be seen whether Ripley will be able to seek revenge against Flair for her loss three years prior.
