Ronda Rousey dropped the SmackDown Women’s Title and she took a little hiatus. Although she was originally slated to lose the championship at the Royal Rumble event, plans changed when Charlotte Flair returned. Now, the Baddest Women on the Planet has WrestleMania in her sights.

Ronda Rousey’s hiatus from WWE won’t last long. It was noted in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Rousey and Shayna Baszler are currently slated to face IYO Sky and Dakota Kair for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at the show of shows.

Ronda Rousey made quip about how the tag team division was in her sights after dropping the SmackDown Women’s Title. It appears that is going to happen, and Shayna Baszler is her obvious partner in that endeavor.

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler certainly have a lot of history between each other. While the other two members of the 4 Horsewomen, Marina Shafir and Jessaymn Duke, are no longer with WWE, it appears that Triple H is going to do what he can with 1/2 of that famous MMA faction.

We’ll have to see what happens on the road to WrestleMania, but there are plenty of options at this point to get fans to that final destination. In the meantime, keep checking back with us here at Ringside News.
