Aliyah Seemingly Frustrated With Her WWE Absence

Aliyah was once looked at as a bona fide future start in WWE, but she spent nearly a decade in NXT. This was even after she was heavily featured in WWE’s ‘Breaking Ground’ documentary series. Aliyah finally received her main roster call-up after a ton of waiting, but that momentum was stopped in its tracks when she was pulled off television.

It seems that this absence from the ring is getting to Aliyah. She hasn’t wrestled a match since dropping the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in September last year.

Aliyah was quite open about her injury status. She’s also been trying hard to make a return to the ring. Despite all this, Aliyah has been absent from WWE television.

In a now-deleted thread of tweets, Aliyah replied, “Umm, i don’t know…” to a fan asking why she hasn’t appeared on WWE television for months. Another fan asked if she could do any shoot backstage, and she responded, “If only I was backstage.”

Aliyah also tweeted out: “ain’t my call” to a fan suggesting an idea for her. Another fan tweeted out and said that they hope to see her in Montreal, and she simply replied to say that she was sorry.

Sorry to let you down.

We’ll have to see when Aliyah makes her return to WWE programming. Obviously, a lot of fans would love to see her on WWE television again. 2023 just started, but she was absent from the 2023 Royal Rumble match, so only time will tell when she reappears.
