Timothy Thatcher was already a veteran of the squared circle when he joined Triple H’s version of NXT in 2020. Thatcher took on the likes of Tommaso Ciampa and Matt Riddle on the black and gold brand. Unfortunately, he became a victim of the notorious budget cuts and was released from his contract in 2022. Tonight, he made his AEW debut.

Timothy Thatcher made his AEW debut tonight on Dynamite. The former GHC Tag Team Champion took on Bryan Danielson in singles competition on AEW’s flagship show this week. Thatcher targeted The American Dragon’s kayfabe injured shoulder during the match as well.

For those wondering, Timothy Thatcher’s AEW debut was announced last week on Dynamite. The Pro Wrestling NOAH star was revealed as The American Dragon’s next opponent by AEW World Champion MJF himself. Danielson himself put over Thatcher huge on AEW’s Road to Dynamite episode.
