The Royal Rumble Premium Live Event was a huge success in many ways, as more than 51k fans in attendance had a very memorable night with their favorite WWE Superstars. The show was a chaotic one, to say the least. Now it seems a WWE producer suffered an injury during a brawl that took place at the Royal Rumble.

During the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, Edge made his return during the Men’s Royal Rumble match. He was ultimately eliminated by Judgement Day, and they continued to fight afterward.

The brawl that ensued was subsequently broken up by several WWE producers. The brawl also included Rhea Ripley blindsiding Edge. However, Beth Phoenix would then make her shocking return and took out The Eradicator with a spear right after that.

According to a report by PW Insider, WWE producer Ken “Dykstra” Doane suffered a leg injury while trying to break up The Judgment Day and Edge’s brawl. It was said that he suffered a torn calf.

It was noted that Kenny Doane “was among those who ran out to break the melee up.” It wasn’t made 100% clear exactly how this went down, but at some point, “Doane suffered a leg injury, which one source feared may have been a torn calf.” It was also noted that the WWE producer is scheduled for an MRI “ASAP to diagnose the injury.”

We certainly hope Doane’s calf injury is not a very serious one, as he has received a ton of praise for his work as a producer since working in the role in 2021. We’ll keep you updated on this ongoing story.
