The Road To WrestleMania 39 officially kicked off at Saturday’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view. No talent from NXT was used for the men’s and women’s Rumble matches. However, that doesn’t mean all hope is lost for NXT Superstars on the Road To WrestleMania. WWE could be warming up certain NXT male talents in the coming weeks. Moreover, certain talents will get called up to the main roster following WrestleMania 39, and WWE may already be working towards that.

Damon Kemp wrestled his last televised match on the January 17th episode of NXT Level Up. Kemp defeated Tank Ledger on the show.

PW Insider reports that Damon Kemp will be at tonight’s Monday Night RAW tonight and may wrestle a match on WWE Main Event.

“WWE NXT star Damon Kemp will be at tonight’s Raw taping, likely to work the WWE Main Event taping.”

Damon Kemp made his NXT debut on the December 24th, 2021, episode of 205 Live. He lost to Andre Chase on his debut. The company obviously sees a lot in the cross-over athlete.

As a freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestler from the University of Minnesota and Pan-American Games Champion, Damon Kemp immediately caught the attention of Roderick Strong and became the unholy member of Diamond Mine. Kemp would later turn on his Diamond Mine stablemates and forge a new, ruthless path for himself.

Damon Kemp is the older brother of fellow WWE signee and Olympic gold medallist Gable Steveson. Gable was previously considered to be the next Brock Lesnar of WWE. Only time will tell what Triple H has planned for them.
