Ricky Starks Was With Cody Rhodes At WrestleMania Last Year

Cody Rhodes made triumphant return at the Royal Rumble event. He entered in the coveted number 30 spot and lasted 15 minutes before finally eliminating Intercontinental Champion Gunther for the win. Wrestling Fans were excited about this win as Cody Rhodes will finally be in the main event of WrestleMania where he will battle Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Following the Royal Rumble, photos started circulating on social media that showed Ricky Starks arriving at the arena with Cody Rhodes. While rumors started circulating that Starks might be looking to jump ship, it now seems like that may not be the case.

PWInsider has confirmed that Ricky Starks and Cody Rhodes are extremely close friends and Starks has accompanied Rhodes to previous WWE events.

It was even noted that Starks and QT Marshall were with Rhodes when he made his WWE return at WrestleMania 38.

“There was some Internet surprise to AEW’s Ricky Starks being in attendance at the Royal Rumble with Cody Rhodes as a photo popped up online. The two are extremely close. Starks and QT Marshall were actually with Rhodes at Wrestlemania 38 in Dallas when Rhodes made his WWE return as well,” per PWinsider.
