While speaking with WWE Digital Exclusive after winning the Royal Rumble match, Rhodes revealed that he popped his eardrums during the match.

“Don’t tell anyone, don’t put it on a medical report, but I popped my eardrums. So, what a night not to hear that much. But I could hear them loud enough and it’s a beautiful moment,.”

It doesn’t sound like Cody Rhodes’ popped eardrums will be much of an issue. He participated in the press conference directly after the event, and seemed jovial as he spoke with the press.

It appears that Cody Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. The bigger question is whether he will challenge the Tribal Chief for both of his titles, or just the one that always alluded his family. After all, many reports have suggested he could be the one to dethrone Roman Reigns once and for all.
