Last’s night Royal Rumble was a massive success that still has plenty of people talking about the aftermath. The show will widely be remembered for its controversial ending. The event had a fair bit of surprising events, such as Booker T returning to in-ring action. However, one moment during the women’s Royal Rumble match caught everyone’s attention.

Asuka returned during the Royal Rumble after being absent from the ring for some time. She entered in the number 17 spot at the event. Before entering the ring, she removed her mask to unveil her Kana persona to the WWE Universe.

Asuka’s revelation caught everyone by surprise, who didn’t know what to expect from her. Asuka had an impressive showing at the Premium Live Event, lasting 33 minutes with 3 eliminations to her name.

Asuka made it to the final three women before being eliminated by eventual winner Rhea Ripley.

Following the match, Asuka tweeted to announce that she has fully embraced her alter ego. To this, AEW Star Abadon replied with a tweet of her own. It remains to be seen if Asuka will be using her alter ego on a regular basis. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we bring you similar stories.
