Vince McMahon has been at the center of a scandal in the past year involving allegations of payoffs to keep accusations quiet. He is back for good now, and fans aren’t really happy about that either. He hasn’t been involved in WWE creative, at all, since his return. Triple H is still in charge of the company’s creative direction, while his father-in-law spends his time trying to sell the company. That being said, it seems Vince McMahon’s schedule is vastly different from what it used to be.

Vince McMahon’s re-appointment to the Board of Directors was perceived as power grab, as he demonstrated a newfound determination to reassert control over WWE. This action was met with significant backlash. As a result, he was named Executive Chairman of WWE after Stephanie McMahon’s resignation, with Nick Khan remaining the sole CEO.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Vince McMahon made his return to the WWE offices in Stamford earlier this month. He also brought back Brad Blum as his Chief of Staff, just a month and a half after WWE let him go.

As previously reported, Vince McMahon has not been attending Creative meetings since his return to the company. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Vince McMahon’s schedule since his return, revealing that he no longer stays all night at the WWE Headquarters like he used to.

I was talking to somebody there pretty high up, who said the only difference is that he’s at the office at 5, it’s not like he is there all night like he used to be, he leaves. He is mostly working on the sale. Does he have his fingers in other pots? Of course, he does, but, he’s not um, you know, whatever he’s doing at night, whatever he used to be adrenalized by business and always wanted to work. Maybe this is a good thing for him at this stage of life because he had no other things he’d enjoy. He’d find stuff to do.

It’s like with me, there’s never an ending to work, you never catch up when you’re in his position or mine, you just do the best you can. So, if he’s leaving, it tells me that he has something going on that is important to him, which is a good thing for him.

Vince McMahon also increased in rank in the list of the world’s richest billionaires after his return. We will have to wait and see what will become of Vince McMahon in the end and if he will truly end up selling WWE soon.
