Chris Jericho is perhaps one of the few world-renowned wrestling veterans that are still going in the business today. The Ucho continues to operate on a level he has been throughout his entire career and plays with evolution regarding his character work and connection with the audience. However, Jericho recently became the holder of an interesting check amount.

Chris Jericho began his professional wrestling career in 1990, working smaller shows and touring on the independent scene. He made a name for himself wrestling for promotions like NJPW, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, ECW, and WCW until 1999.

It was in August 1999 that Chris Jericho was revealed to be the ‘Millineum Man’, debuting on WWE RAW interrupting The Rock. Y2J continued to work for the company for the next 20 years, winning multiple championships and accolades in the process.

Furthermore, Chris Jericho jump shipped to AEW in 2019, becoming the promotion’s first major signee. The Ucho came to the land of All Elite in search of a new direction for his career and yet again reinvented himself much like he did at major stages of his career.

Chris Jericho has become a fixture for All Elite Wrestling and is helping in developing talent and promotion as a whole. The Wizard recently revealed on Instagram that he has now become the recipient of a zero-dollar royalty check, which stated that only advice from him was non-negotiable.

Sadly, Chris Jericho didn’t reveal who cut this check, but we can only imagine that he has a lot of these checks come through thanks to the various projects he’s been a part of.

The former Le Champion currently leads the charge of his Jericho Appreciation Society, consisting of upcoming AEW talent. Furthermore, it seems like AEW would be the last destination in Chris Jericho’s career before he decides to hang up his boots for good.
