Kenny Omega has been a mainstay in AEW ever since the promotion appeared on the pro wrestling map in 2019. The Cleaner is incredibly active behind the scenes as well, working with longtime friends The Young Bucks to put on great shows for the fans to enjoy.

Speaking of shows, Tony Khan and his team produced an emotional yet action-packed episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite this week. The show featured a beautiful video package for the late great Jay Briscoe. Jay’s brother Mark finally made his AEW debut as well.

Almost all of the AEW and ROH roster attended the tribute show. The locker room even banded together on stage after the main event to show their support for Mark Briscoe, who defeated Jay Lethal with a Jay Driller. That said, not everyone was able to make it to the show.

Sean Sapp gave an update on some of the names that were backstage or appeared on screen for the event from behind Fightful’s paywall. According to the report, Kenny Omega wanted to be at the Rupp Arena, but visa issues stalled his arrival.
