Doudrop was a mainstay on NXT UK before she got her main roster call-up. Vince McMahon changed her name from Piper Niven to Doudrop. She was last seen on WWE television in September 2022.

Doudrop previously stated that she was on the road to recovery following her battle with an undisclosed illness. She has now revealed the cause of her illness during an interview Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture.

“I’ve had some time off to deal with a health scare that I had. Luckily, that’s all it was, it was just a scare. Everything was always great, sadly, I got COVID real bad. The symptoms that I was having, they were concerned about my heart. God bless them, they took the best care of me, they got every test for my heart that they could muster, and every single one of them came back clean as a whistle. Much to some people’s annoyance, my heart is in excellent condition.”

Doudrop said she’ll be around for the upcoming Royal Rumble premium live event, although she didn’t elaborate on that. Her last match before she was taken off television transpired on the September 6, 2022, episode of NXT 2.0, where she teamed with Nikki A.S.H. to take on Toxic Attraction.
