Britt Baker Pulled From AEW Dynamite Match Due To Injury

Britt Baker was the first female signee for AEW apart from Brandi Rhodes. Since the early days of the company, she was placed in spotlight. Even as a former AEW Women’s Champion, Britt Baker still commands attention, but now she has hit a roadblock as an injury stopped her progress.

Britt Baker was supposed to compete in a three-way match on AEW Dynamite this week. Now, she will not be able to participate due to an undisclosed injury.

The match will carry on with Ruby Soho and Toni Storm squaring off in one-on-one action. We will have to see how Britt Baker might insert herself in the situation regardless of her injury status.

Due to injury, Dr. @RealBrittBaker D.M.D. will not be able to compete in the scheduled 3-Way Match on #AEWDynamite.

Following their postmatch encounter last Wednesday on Dynamite, it will now be @realrubysoho fighting #ToniStorm one-on-one LIVE on TBS at 8pm ET/7pm CT, TONIGHT!

Britt Baker wrestled with a wrist injury throughout the pandemic, but she has needed to take time off for an injury in the past. Even when she couldn’t compete due to a knee problem, she appeared on AEW television and was heavily involved in the on-screen stories.
